Welcome to the Boss Summer Challenge!

The Boss Summer Challenge is designed to make your summer fitness engaging, enjoyable, and motivating. Whether you’re a long-time member or new to Bossfit, this challenge is your chance to connect with the community, stay accountable to your fitness goals, and have fun in the sun! We’ve got 6 weeks of special events, fun workouts and challenges, so get ready to HAVE SOME FUN!


What is the Boss Summer Challenge?

Think of it as a combination of a Bingo card and a star chart. Over six weeks, from July 8 to August 19, you’ll complete various tasks to earn points. These tasks will help you stay engaged, and make the most of the summer weather.

Point System:

  • Perform: (1 Point): Attend various classes and use recovery tools.

  • Participate (2 Points): Participate in community events like runs and beach workouts, and bring a friend to class.

  • Promote (3 Points): Promote Bossfit by writing reviews and sharing content on social media.

How to Participate:

  1. Put your name on the challenge board and start signing up for classes : Check the gym for our challenge board and register for classes through the Zenplanner App.

  2. Complete Tasks: Follow the tasks listed on the star chart. Tasks can be completed in any order (unless date-specific).

  3. Earn Stars: Track your progress by getting a star from the front desk and marking off your tasks.

  4. Win Prizes: Aim for the top and win amazing prizes from our local sponsors.

July 13 & August 3 at 7:30 AM, 8:30 AM, and 9:30 AM. Enjoy a workout on the beach with your fellow members.

August 5-11. Invite friends to join you for a class and introduce them to Bossfit. No sign up required!

July 22: After all morning classes, enjoy some post-class treats and connect with the community.

July 17 & August 7 at 6:30 PM. Join us for a run along the seawall. All levels welcome, including pets and strollers

July 15-20. Experience our new sauna for free and relax after your workouts.

August 15: After all evening classes, grab a libation and a post-workout hang.


Some friendly FAQ’s to help along the way:

How do you win and WHAT do you win?

  •  Earn points by completing tasks in Perform, Participate, and Promote categories. 

  • Top point earners win prizes like gift cards, Bossfit gear and free memberships. 

How does Bring a Friend Week work? 

  • From August 5-11, current members can bring friends to any class FOR FREE.

  • Friends do NOT need to sign up ahead of time but they must sign a waiver and provide basic information when they come in.

  • All friends are entered into a draw to win a free membership. 

Can I bring a friend who is already a member? 

  • We love that, to earn points during Bring a friend week, they must be non-members. 

Can I earn multiple points in one go? 

  • Nice try! You can only earn one point a day. Unless you took a class / attended an event AND left a review on google or yelp.

How long are the community runs and are they for everyone? 

  • Community runs are just under 3 miles long and suitable for all fitness levels. 

  • Walkers, joggers, strollers and puppers are all welcome!

These beach workouts…what should I expect and how can I prepare? 

  • Expect a 35 minutes of hard work plus a warm up and cooldown.

  • Bring a towel, water bottle, and wear sunscreen. 

  • Meet at Bossfit to pick up equipment before heading to the beach. 

How do we sign up for all the fun events that are happening?

  • Sign up for events like beach workouts and community runs through Zenplanner. Check the Bossfit newsletter for updates on upcoming events and sign-up details.
